Im gonna get my roof done by a friend I dont want to spend any leave days shingling a roof when I could be fishing this summer only get 2 weeks then back to the sand box

Yep...got tax check today....already gone to pay other taxes...lasted about 2 hrs......after all I live in Pennsylvania...land of taxes...They just put a new tax on tires when you buy them...guess our gov figured people need tires all the time so a good way to make more money....so they can give themselves another raise.....oh well..the way of the land. Pa land that is.

Again talking of Pa the land of taxes....the mayor of Pittsburgh had a big fight on his hands when he wanted to put a tax on tuition for college kids to help increase city tax money. The kids brought up the fact lots of the city employees never paid their taxes so go after them for money instead..even the man that collects city taxes does not pay his. Now they want to add a 40 cent per bottle 'sugar' tax on pop, other soft drinks. Also heard in the wind was mention of a tax on anyone owning a gun or ammunition....to help gather money....Time to move out of the land of taxes....Pa that is..at least I don't live in Allegheny Co where pittsburgh is located...but close..right next door in Beaver Co.
