Cool Bands

We shot 7 banded birds goose hunting this year..one was a 100 buck bird that a lady we had out bagged up. Tickled her to no end. Saw a plastic banded goose feeding in the yard about a month ago..had a regular band too. Plastic was red with numbers but I really couldn't read them...even with the binocs

Three years ago I shot the first $100 bird out of our group of hunters and now it seems like everybody is shooting them. It is actually hard to believe because I thought they kept the ratio of reward bands to regular bands set. Maybe we are just getting really lucky over here. I was tickled to death when I saw the reward band on my mallard a couple of years ago and that is a story that I will tell for quite some time.
