17hmr Sweet

I just picked up a .17 HMR Savage today. I put a simmons 3-9x50 scope on it and it shoots great. Looking forward to shooting some woodchucks this summer with it and some coyotes and fox in the winter. I think that the .17 will do the job no prob on a coyote because of how fast the bullet goes. Its a flat shooting gun out to 100 yds from what ive heard and then starts to go down from there but 200+ yd shots are possible. Its a sweet little caliber and im glad i bought it after reading this post and the others on .17HMR hunting and shooting.
