The 300 WSM is easily as accurate as the 300 WM and may edge it a trifle. It has a somewhat bad rep for recoil because of ignorance. Folks just can not get it into their head that it is a 300 WM in a short case. They want to get 3 pound rifles built for the cute little cartridge. Then the air weight gun with the buggy whip barrel turns into a fire breathing, thunder stomper and they blame the gun.
