Got to handle a Sten Mark V

A friend stopped by yesterday and showed me his new toy. He acquired a mint WWII 9mm Sten Mark V. This model has a wooden stock and front sight quard like a No. 4 Mark I. I am really looking forward to shooting it. All the best...

Gil,

While I never fired that model Sten, I shot lots of other 9mm subguns. For my money, I would rather have a 12 gauge and #4 Buckshot for a fight ender.

9MM Sub Gun

Although I carried a suppressed sub gun for a year or so..I agree with Adam!

That is a classic military arm. Let us know how it shoots. Take care...

Thumbs up

Cool! I have yet to see a Mk.V 'in the metal'. I have shot an original STEN Mk. III, and was impressed with the performance of the 'Plumber's Nightmare'. They are actually pretty accurate!
