I've been through West Yellowstone several time there's almost always snow on the ground somewhere. When we (my Mom, Sister and me) moved up to Laurel, MT back in '85 we ran into one of the worst blizzards West Yellowstone had seen in quite sometime. It was nasty. My Uncle almost hit a bull elk that slipped on the icy snow about 15yds in front of us. My Mom had to stop every 15 minutes or so and bust the ice off the wipers so they could clear the snow off the windshield. I would love to live in West Yellowstone, but I fear my wife would leave me. I wonder, would it be worth it???
