Hey WT,

I recognized our friendly taxidermist as the photo was downloading and before I even read your post. I bet he was extremely happy to get a buck like that. Is he going to do your taxidermy for the rest of the year for free? LOL

When do I get my invite to come hunting over there with you guys? LOL

Just finished up painting my office and I am in the process of getting over a cold too. Haven't done any hunting since November. However, I will be back into the swing of things by the time next season comes around.

Take care and congrats

Rubicon,

Trust me, I would be out hunting webbed feet if it were up to me, but I have a ton of things to get done before July comes around. Heck, waterfowl hunting is first on my list of fun things to do once I get all the other required items out of the way. I also feel really bad about not being able to take Nitro out. The worst part about it is that the geese fly right by my place in the morning and the evening and Nitro watches them out of the sliding glass kitchen door. That really sucks. It sucks even more when I take him out and he sees them fly by and then he stares at me like "Why aren't you shooting them." Just yesterday, a couple dozen flew into a waste water pond less than a hundred yards from my place and that was torture to watch.

must be nice................. Sometimes when I have been in the woods for entirely too much time... I think I see Bucks like that, however, I am just freakin delerious from no sleep and the wind shakin those bushes around makes me see things. I have pretty much said screw it this season. I am ready to move North and maybe then I will see something worth shooting. anyway, Good Job Buddy, keep it up.
P.S. If Fishing goes like Hunting this year, I am going to eat the damn barrell myself. LOL

Chaney,

I know where you live and I can tell you that you aren't too far from where a lot of bucks have been killed. I have killed my "little" bucks, according to WT and Big Daddy, in Washington County (i.e., where you live) and south of there in Montgomery County where I live. So, you don't really have to move north, you just have to look really hard where you live.

Great looking bucks. Wish we could relocate a bunch of brutes like that to the state of wa. I know we have some big bucks here but finding them if and when you do they are usually on private property.
