myth busters???? barrel eatn 25/06

Barrel Life of a 25-06 I really don't know!

However, I can tell you that I once upon a time ran over 4500 rounds through one (mostly 100 grain bullets) and the day I got rid of it, to a friend who wanted to own said rifle, it still shot 3/4 inch groups from the bench at 100 yards. That same rifle he gave to his son, who is now using it for coyote hunting. This was over a 16 year period. So go figure shooters.
