i wonder how over bore if att all the 25wsm is,, guess i look at that formula and see if i can figure it out.

I agree 100% with what Rocky pointed out about today's powders being slower.
Too, in 'Thee Olden Days' when Hoppe's #9 was the standard bore solvent, a lot of high velocity cartridges supposedly went thru barrels faster than they do today. I have always suspicioned that some of those 'burned out' barrels back in the day quit shooting from severe copper fouling, not throat erosion.

See, being a relative newbie reloader compared to some of you, I didnt know there was another powder for the 25-06 than 4831.

i consider myself new too but ive dropped a few difrent powders into 2506 cases, rl 19 and 4831 being two of them
