Sen. Tom Diaz 'Anti gun nut'

Seems Mr Diaz got to speak to 60 Minutes. But was I suprized when Ed Bradley seemed pro Barrett.

He (Bradley) even spoke with Mr Barrett, and let him argue the point, "Any weapon a terrorist uses is a danger." He never lost his cool, had his ever present half smile.

And he pointed out that the Barrett .50 has a cleaner record than any other firearm. And pointed out that you can't 'conceal' a five and a half foot long rifle.

Mr Diaz on the other hand seemed to give all the weird situations, "A terrorist could.................." But 60 Minutes didn't report what Mr Diaz said, claiming 'they' were not going to brodcast ideas to the terrorist.

But the one they did talk about was .50's and aircraft. I was the youngest of four boys, my two oldest brothers were in Vietnam, and I studied the war (and still do) and learned you do not need a huge caliber to bring down a jet airplane. And being an air defender in the US Army for 10 years, I can say that I know what I am saying.

Mr Diaz is, and will many more times present half-truths to frighten the public in to votes for anti gun everything.

But once more vote seekers are making unfounded attacks on us, I fear we are one election away from losing our 2nd Amendment rights.

Pretty soon bow hunters are going to get treated worse than thugs with illegal guns...............because we hunters sure won't have them soon
