Greg, I had two reduced loads for the K-Hornet (or regular Hornet). Both are for 45 grain bullets and mild primers:

6.0 of Blue Dot/2050 fps
-or-
3.5 of Bullseye/1600 fps.

Reduced loads CAN be very dangerous in two circumstances.

One, if you accidentally double-charge the case. That one should be obvious.

Two, if you try much reduced loads of very slow rifle powders (such as 4831). That one is not well explained, but it DOES happen.

Don't try to reduce slow rifle powders below published START loads. Be extremely careful with pistol powders in rifle or large handgun cases. Those two things should keep your body parts attached.
