SKS, tracers, target half mile away = fun
Had another tracer shoot the other evening. everyone had fun and got at least one hit on the target which is 5ft X 5ft and 880 yards out. 300 rounds went down range with 33 hits, more than 10%, not bad since most guys had open sights. Tracers are supposed to be hard on a barrel, so thats the reason for SKS`s. And it makes it a lot more fair, almost anyone can afford a $150 or less rifle. Strikes on the steel plate are positive I.D., they make a big spark that can be seen even with the naked eye.

Sounds like a heck of a time! Not a bad hit % at that range. I'd take it considering the equipment.
