				Pawn Shop Ramblings...

Ran away from home for a couple of hours today... kicked around some pawn shops, just looking to see if there was anything that called my name. There was a nice Spanish made sporter (not the infamous milsurp) in 30-06. Bore looked like the owner never cleaned it. Generally in good shape, with 4x40 Tasco scope, and the nice lady quickly came down to $150. Almost reached for my wallet, but then asked that saving question, what would I do with a third 30-06?? They also had an FEG in 9mm, priced right. Strong. Heavy. Big. Terrible trigger pull. Naaaah. Another place had a VZ-24, no bluing, dinged stock, for merely $490. They will have that one for a long time. Still another had a 10-22 for only $125. Bluing kinda receding a little. Muzzle totally boogered. $50 to reblue, $30 to recrown... Not very attractive. Cheap trip... nothing called my name. Almost as much fun as going to the range. |

Thats another thing I love about F.L., pawnshops . 125$ for a used 10-22 is a rip off!! You can get a new one for that price.
