My guys daughter, son-in-law and the grand children were in Metarie...have only gotten broken up cell phone info...to all of you with friends and family, I wish you the best...may God look after all of us.

I watched this thing unfold hour by hour as all of you are doing.. I dont know about most of you but as I watch it...I have come to the very real conclusion that in the first critical hours of an emergency...no one is gonna take care of you and yours but you..

I use to make fun of my mom for insisting the tornado shelter be built, stocking it with food and all the other things...guess she saw these things coming..I have a generator but I see it is inadequate now...I priced some of the bigger ones and they are 10-15 thousand dollars...the ones I want are anyway...and just how much gas is a person to store? without blowing ourselves up? This is a wake-up call for many...disheartening and disappointing as it is...
