Savage No. 4 Mark 1

This one followed me home today from the gun shop today. It appears to be unissued. I already had one, but this one is a gem. All the best...

It has a broken firing pin

No problem. I called Gun Parts Corp. and ordered two firing pins and two firing pin replacement tools. I can do this. All the best...

Hello Gil,

That's the one I have a No4, Mk1 Enfield and am quite happy with it. You may well have made an excellent choice, either that or I've just been fortunate with mine. Congratulations and best wishes.

Cal,
You are correct, these are swell rifles. When I saw this gem, I resolved that Bubba was not going to get a hold of this rifle. I got the firing pin replaced in about 10 minutes. Haven't shot it yet. All the best...

Enfield No. 4 Mark 1 bolt heads

There are several places that might be able to supply these bolt heads. They are: Gun Parts Corporation at www.gunpartscorp.com, Sarco, Inc. at www.sarcoinc.com and Marstar at www.marstar.ca. Hope this helps. All the best...
