Can't really help with hot spots but
we can't bait here either. We've found that the biggest thing is to cover ground. A bear will try to sit tight till you just about step on it. Literally. Dig em out of the thick crap adjacent to food. Around here that usually means swamps by a landfill. Setting up in the afternoon is the best time. During the day I wouldn't bother setting on stand. |
