Under god

Well personally I think it should stay. But I also feel i can say the pledge anyway I want to. That is the great thing about this country. I still think the Judges have got the whole thing wrong. The separation of Church and State means only that there shall be NO state sponsored or state dictated religion...such as Henry the eigth did in England. My forebears came from a protestant England because of the persecution they endured because they were catholic. Being catholic in England in the late 1600's wasn't a fun thing.

Now as to the comment by Tide 12 about Jabba's comment being stupid.... Well Tide that is another nice thing about this country. You may have the right to say that...but Jabba has the right to practice his religion in the manner that best suits him. I may not agree with his rendition of religious beliefs or yours for that matter but your comment was out of line. Not flaming you...but look at it and see how you would feel if someone told you your way of thinking was stupid. That shoe may not fit so well.
The commandment about not killing.... Actually reads thou shall not commit murder. Using the killing way means you couldn't even kill a mosquito and god allowed the killing of sheep etc in tribute to him. So killing holds no water...whereas murder makes a lot of sense...Just my take on it...translated from the jewish version of course.

Also the bible doesn't say that God is going to condemn all the unbelievers. The way I read the bible they will have a chance at life eternal after being resurrected...before the devil gets turned loose again after a thousnad years. Nuff thumping on the bible fer certain
