Clarkrange Hunting Lodge

Has any of you all been to Clarkrange Hunting lodge with owner guide Ken Moody. I was wondering what you thought of the place. I'm considering going there on a boar and goat hunt with my father when I return from Iraq.

I've heard of the place and the owner, but have never been there personally, so I couldn't tell you much about the operation.

Unless a HC member has been there and can give you their opinion, I'd just give ol Ken a call and get a list of his references... Good and bad. He should have both. Even if an HC member has been there I'd still do it, since the more opinions the better!

I've been on a lot of hunts and I can say from experience if you do your homework up front, you're less likely to walk into something you weren't expecting, or more than likely a bad experience.

That being said, I do have several outfits that I would recomend and have very high success rates for bears (Both Quebec and the provinces West of)

Not having my contact list in front of me, Ken's name sure sounds familiar and I'm sure I might even have talked to him before....(just rings a bell)

After doing a quick search (since you had me wondering about him) I believe I remember where I last saw him.

If I can recall it was at the Eastern Outdoor Sports show in Harrisburg, PA this past year. Other than that, from what I readit, I'd say your success rate should be prety high. I believe it's an enclosure correct?

By the way.. Welcome to Huntchat!

I do believe that Clark Range was a sponsor on this BB in its formidable years. Rocky might know for sure.

Yes it is an encloser. I ended up giving him a call and getting references on the place. I think I'm probably going to go there.
