Kahles scopes?

Has anyone here ever owned or used a Kahles rifle scope before and if so what do you think of them? I'm having a new rifle built for me it's a custom .264 Win Mag on a Remington 700 action and I'm looking to use the new Kahles multi-zero scope for it. But before spending that kind of money on a scope I'm looking for some first hand experience with that brand. So if you have some let me hear from you please. Thanks

Kahles is a well respected Austrian scope maker for over 100 years. Believe that Swaro bought them or placed them under their line in the last few years. I have used a 3-12x56 for years on a .270, no problems, great glass. Can't help you make a decision, just my opinion on Kahles, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Thanks for the feedback Dom I glad to read anything good or bad. I have pretty much made up my mind about purchasing the new Kahles Helia 3-10x50 Multi-Zero scope. It has everthing I'm looking for in a quility scope and more I can't wait to mount it mount it on my .264 Win Mag that I'm building right now. Thanks again Dom!

Hi Rumluver,

I have one old Khales 4L2 scpe which is an alloy bodied 4x scope and I like it very much indeed. Optics are exceptional and it's given me no problems. I have also used a 6x42 khales scope on a friends Mannlicher and tha too was clear bright and sharp. he has used Khales by choice for many years and I believe has even been to the Factory. Khales is his first choice and e has another on his Mannlicher GK 7x64mm rifle.

Brithunter,

First let me apluad you on your signature. I believe in those words and try live by them. In my field of work I deal with all sorts of people and that statement keeps my chin up everytime I speak it to myself. Also thanks for the report on Kahles scopes I'm looking forward to mounting one on my rifle after it's finished leter in the spring. My scope will be the Multi-Zero style from Kahles. Thanks Again Brithunter and good luck with whatever game you persue.

Hi Rumluver,

Thankyou, after dealing with "our Police" over the firearms licensing I have to remind me of that saying often indeed

Just lately it's only been a few pheasents in the back yard. I have sniped them with a .22 R/F and HP subsonic ammo. Only one feel to a 20 guage the first time I fired this one. I aquired it earlier this year cheap, it's a single Barrel Russian Baikel and it did the job

I am not up of the ne Khales scopes as I have not been looking at the for some time. Next time I need a scope I will have to looks for a good used one with finances the way they are. Finding the right scope and deal makes it fun though Good luck wiht your new rifle.
