When they opened an Outdoor World here in Maryland, I was living about 5 minutes from it and had never been to a store like that. I must have spent at least 5 grand in it the first year that it was open. Spend a good amount there two years ago, but have been pretty good about not spending money there lately, maybe because I now live about an hour from it. I visited the Cabelas in PA when I went up there for my grandmother's burial and only managed to spend a couple hundred dollars. That store was awesome and I blame my lack of spending on my mood that day. They opened another Cabelas in WV, but that is also a 4 hour ride from me (i.e., I am lucky). If they open one in Maryland anywhere, I will end up broke. Heck, I just ordered close to a grand from Cabelas with the layout blinds that I bought.

Hunting and fishing aren't cheap sports. If you want to be involved in a sport that is cheap, take up soccer or basketball.
