M-16 Mags

Has anyone seen or used the new M-16 mags made by HK? I have included a picture of one. The follower is steel and remains level and functions smoothly no matter where the downward pressure is exerted. They are expensive (about 70.00 each) but are supposed to offer 30-50% increased reliability over the regular GI Mags. I have some, and they work great, though the old GI style has worked well in the past too. Just wondering if anyone else has seen them.

Still using G.I.mags.

I came across a bunch of G.I. mags cheap and bought them. The HK mags look OK. All the best...

They are sweet, if people were shooting at me I'd definately want a bunch of them. They came out of the HK SA80 improvement effort. As I understand it the SA80 had two main problems: dented mags causing failure to feed and dented receiver housings causing the bolt to stick out of battery. The 'anti-rock' follower was an added bonus. I wish they made them in 20rd versions, I do most of my recreational shooting of assault rifles with 20rd magazines.
