2- 30 oz. bottles of Ketchup 2 cups apple Vinegar 2 quarts sliced hot peppers(more or less) 2 cups Sugar 1 tablespoon od Salt 1 Cup vetegetable oil 1 large onion, Diced 1 large Bell pepper, diced 1 large soup spoon of Hot sauce(Tuongot Sirracha or Cheyenne) 5 pounds all beef franks, cut into 1/3's Mix everything except the peppers, onions and franks. Cook 5 minutes at rolling boil, then add peppers, franks, and onions. Cook until peppers are wilted(about 5 minutes(. Put in warm jars, and seal with lids and rings( from hot water). Can be put in pint jars for midday luch while hunting, take along some crackers. Quart jars for the hunting camp table. |
