He must be a mix between horse and deer. LOL Killing something like that will keep the freezer full for quite a while.

Can you say jerky and summer sausage? Definitely want to do something to season it up a bit, cause I'm sure it would be pretty stout venison. That's an absolute giant of a deer! Can't even imagine what it was like trying top drag that one out, and glad I wasn't there to have to help! LOL!

I hate to be the doubting Thomas, but I wonder if that pic is 'enhanced'..... doesn't look quite right to me.

I dunno, have to agree with Jack on it not quite looking right. And I always like field dressed weights on all game, not weighing it undressed just to get a higher number. Couldn't imagine havin' to drag that undressed out of the woods and to a scale without first dressin' it. Course nowadays, quads are king, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

It sure looks photoshopped to me also. Look at the size of the guy's hand holding the antler in the first pic.

It does look photoshopped to me as well...

We do see quite a few up here that are at the 300# mark and a bit larger, but I haven't heard of any that reached 400#

I just went over those pics are very high magnification looking for graphical artifacts usually left behind in photoshops, and i couldn't find any.

If it is faked, it's a _damn_ good one.

I'd be willing to bet it's legit though.

trying to matchup outlines, and pixel resolutions from different pics is what leaves artifacts, and tehy are quite visible if you knwo what to look for, this pic has none that i can find.

I have friends and family in AR (great grandparents lived in Truman) I'll ask if anyone has the scoop. Regardless of the true weight, it looks like a pig to me I'd hate to have been alone. Dragging that beast out of the woods would give a guy a heart attack. How's the Cobia fishing this year Frank? Good hunting & fishing, grayghost

Hey grayghost. The fishing has been pretty good this year. I don't get out there and battle all those guys on the pier for the cobia. I know there have been a bunch of them caught. I just came in from some deep water fishing yesterday. We caught a few snapper, but it got real rough and we had to come in. Hate it when that happens. Oh well, we'll just have to go out and catch the rest later.
