Military Shotguns

I saw a British No. 1 Mark III that was bored out to become a single shot .410 shotgun. Looks kind of interesting and might be fun to shoot. There was a Gew98 that had the original stock cut down and was a 16 gauge repeater. That has possibilities. Both shotguns were reasonably priced. All the best...

Gil,

That MkIII .410 was the subject of an article about police/prision guard guns in India pre-WWII that is around the house here somewhere.

Those GEW shotguns were Weimar era guns made up for export since the Krauts lost WWI and had a big reparations bill to meet.
