I skipped thru the last couple of post on this subject but let me tell you what I am reaping from the internet....if you say something enough times people start to believe it.....I am making it my mission to say what I feel enough times...with diplomacy I also might add....that it will start to sink into peoples heads.....if you have an issue you believe firmly enough in......make it heard....

Here goes the simple minded redneck....

First off...religion is just a cover fer these fools. While I do think that that Islam is a religion....there are people who use it as a pad fer the whip. Kinda like those preachers on tv whos always beggin fer money to line "God's" pockets...it just an excuse and a cover to get away with what they want to really do.

I caint beat up a religion. Nobody can...it's just a different way of thinkin. BUT...when they cross a certain moral line...then religion should be thrown out the window.
The other thing I dont git...is they follow the prophet Mohammed. Now from what I gather...he is a prophet who lived at the time er after Jesus. They are classified as Christians...I think. So therefer...apparently they just threw the Old Testament out the winder where it lists the 10 commandments etc etc.
OK...that there tosses the Christian thing...cause no matter what denomination you are..at least the old testament plays a part in how you interpet the bible.
Therefer...that takes me back to usin religion as a cover.

As fer as the U S of A states doin anythin...I think we poitically and socially have our hands tied. Cause look at it like this....Hitler killed millions because of their religion and the fact that he considered them an inferior race. So...if we went over there and blew everybody to smithereens....would we not be in that same classification? Granted....I know they are killin people and makn general havoc all over the world...and I know that them fools should be in Hitler's catagory a helluva lot more than we are....but we would appear to the world as Hitler..cause that's just the way it works unfortunatley.
I still think we would be doin the world a favor by doin that tho...but it just aint that easy I'm afraid....

I get exactly what your saying Lilred, but I personally dont think that the choices are that extreme...we dont have to say or preach we are a democracy with the ability to say what we want as an example but then on the other hand blow some distant part of the world up because it threatens us....I think we should learn and analyze from the world around us...I read the newspapers from all over the world almost everyday, its amazing how crime and punishment can vary from everywhere.....I read alot about sex crimes in other parts of the world and how these societies are grappling with it.....I am thinking Jesus people...form a think tank and research what works and what doesnt by the countries who are dealing with it, I liken the US looking at Great Britian and the influx of the Muslims and how it has effected their society, or France which have huge numbers of Muslims because they were so open with their immigration laws....we as United States Citizens should have the research and forethought to nip this crap in the bud, because of what the Muslim population has done to these countries, I have this saying and I think it applies to most things in life "Liars can figure, but figures dont lie" we are not in a perfect world we need to quit making policies as if we were...

I agree with majority of the posts, largely that this will certainly have the makings for a much larger issue if it is not dealt with now.

Unlike Nazi Germany, whom targeted classes of people for extermination based upon race, we target the raghead extremists that choose to strap bombs to themselves or vehicles and get as many innocent people killed as possible. We then target the governments that provide safe harbor for these extremists and target them.

Yes, this will lead to more raghead terrorists joining the fight through brainwashing and these folks will be targeted too until there is nobody left to target or governments willing to offer their lands as a glass parking lot following the carpet bombing (very nice touch, BTW)

You need not target Islam as the radicals will affix their own crosshair on themselves through their violent actions and likewise governments by their inactivity to expunge their lands of terrorists dwelling amongst them.

My basic philosophy has always been that the countries who are targeting the war, will finally get sick and tired of the war...Iran has always been a strong thought of mine that the younger generation will see thru the clerics they will see thru the restrictions and at some point overthrow the regime, to go towards a more democratic regime....I am about ten years too late, but my hopes and dreams still lay in that direction...

When we've had enough...enough bombings, beheadings, suicide bombers, kidnappings, murders and a few more major disasters here on our soil, maybe those leaders in charge will look in their pants and find their manhood, grab a hold of them and send in Uncle Sam's big foot and stomp those vermin out of existance. No more mouth, no threat, just the ass kicking those animals deserve. Kill all of them, no matter what sex or age. You want it to stop? Then kill them all or it will never end. I hate to be the one to break it you, but we are a democratic society, we dont go in with guns blasting and settle this crap overnight, look walk with me here...I am on your side, I also think we need to get mean and tough, but as a democratic union, we cant, thats what gives us our power believe it or not...if we drop down to their level, now here is another walk, we must get down and dirty to do what needs to be done....but it can never be the front page of the New York Times....

I hear what your saying Val, I do. But war is hell. Sherman did make Georgia howl, and made our Civil War end sooner than later. Scorched Earth policy he called it. Consider this: what if tomorrow, everyone (Christian, Jewish, Catholic , etc.) in American became a Muslim. Would this matter to those who's only dream is to kill people and justify it in the name of religion? I would love to see a world where no one was killing anyone. I didn't mean to insinuate that we go destroy the world. But my point is, when we've had enough bloodshed, we'll fight fire with fire. And that seems to be the only thing these killers understand. I'm frustrated over our men and women dying in the middle east. We aren't going to change these people that are totally committed to cold blooded murder. We let our soldiers get bombed and picked off everyday and keep their hands tied at the same time. We punish our troops for humiliating prisoners? Last I heard we didn't cut off any of their heads. We court martial our soldiers because one of them shot a wounded combatant? Support them, give them the means to fight or bring them home. They didn't get asked if they wanted to go; they were ordered to go and they went. Please don't take this as argumentative. It's just my venting. Good hunting, grayghost

I do understand how you feel about the US being better than the others that do the terror thing. Here is a FACT of LIFE When fighting a war...the only way to win is to be harder nastier and more vicious than the other side. That is the way we won WW II and that is the only way to win a war. You can't pansy them to their knees. That is kinda what happened in Vietnam and it just didn't work then...and won't work now. Do I like that?? No of course not.... but these people creating terror through the world know that is the only way we can beat them...and they think they can win...because they feel we do NOT have the will to do what is necessary to defeat them. Sorry, but in all actuality...that is the bottom line, as we like to say!! Sadly...they may be right..

No argument from me...but I think it was better 50 years ago without instant technology...seems no matter what we do its on the front page the day after, I also dont think thats anyway to win a war..hey do what needs doing...I am ok with that, but someone should put a press ban on this stuff, the public would be happier...

Absolutely! I'll all for that. Every more our troops make the media wants it on the 6 o'clock news with live action. I say we take their big mouth and camera; replace it with an M-16 and see how it feels to have someone filming you 24/7. The enemy is watching. Good huntin'!

my only thoughts are there are alot of good people that have died
and alot of service personnel maimed because of the bickering in washington .
