Gentlemen one and all,

This is the final post on this topic. I am now an official motorist again. The extra two month delay was because my license was marked for driving a motorcycle. It took that long for them to notify me. I told the gentleman by phone that it was obviously a mistake not of my making and to simply remove the motorcycle bit and send me my damn license. His reply? We cannot do that. You'll have to send us a letter authorizing it. An additional two months, and I have my license. I've aged a year since this all started, and am now out $750. And this province wants to become a country? God help anyone who doesn't get out while the getting is good. It'll be a nightmare. Well, it's over. Thanks for putting up with me. I promise to drive carefully. Best wishes.

Cal - Montreal

Texas driving and my pilot's license

Okay, I've got the pic, a heart patient with a recent stroke (me) shouldn't fly an airplane, but, my driver's license... no way should they take that as long as I am safe.

After the doc said I could go back to driving, I did. No hint of anything from the state.
