A fine mid-Winter warm spell here in PA.

It is 4:30 p.m. and 54 degrees on January 5, 2007! I can stand a lot more of this. Today I worked with the flinters and caplocks at the backyard bench. As information, the biggest maple syrup maker nearby is "tapping" his maple trees. Whatever.

I have made up my firing schedule for the next few days and will go back to the bench. It will be 60 degrees tomorrow! I love it.

Adam

I want cold and snow! Late Flinter season isn't going according as I was hoping.

Swift,

I hear you. This last week of the PA Traditional Muzzleloader season will have snow in Northcentral PA . I will go afield with my .54 Hawken flinter and patched roundball. In fact, it is snowing as I type this and it is 30.7 degrees with a South wind.
