In case anything would ever happen to Punxatawney Phil (), he (or a she?) has ensured a line of succession to carry the torch of groundhog prognostication.
One of those "in the line" is a local groundhog named Shoei Louie. You may not have heard of him. Well probably not.
Our radio station has a field reporter named Bobby Bubbenmoyer (imagine the guy with a thick Pa German accent) on the scene up on Hinnerschitz Hill. You gotta understand that we here in Pa take our groundhogs seriously. In fact, PP might even run against Hillary. A sure bet if I ever saw one...
A little background on Bobby. He's a certified SOB graduate. Which means he graduated from the Shoei School of Broadcasting and his "character" has been going on for a couple of years now. He also has his dog along which is Bobbo the Shitzu. Bobby has been having trouble keeping the dog outta the groundhog den for some reason.
I don't know how they can keep it all straight without busting up, its a pretty funny spoof on Gobbler's Knob..

Groundhog day here is not good so far. I have not only not been able to find the first groundhog, I have not been able to find any tracks in the snow. Bummer
