Heading to the Outer Banks the week of the 21st. We got a house on Corova Beach with some friends. It's the 4x4 beach North of Corolla.

I'm kind of excited except the drive down in the Jeep Wrangler. Should be a fun time when we get there though. Right around a 10 hr trip from my place.

Anyhow, if anyone else is going to be around there that week, let me know. I plan on actually relaxing all week, but would like to meet ya if you're there also. Might do some fishing, some golfing, see the sights....and just catch some sun. I know it's not my vacation I had planned in Montana. Couldn't swing that one with the wife even though the lodge was free. Oh well there's always next year! See ya there if you're going the same week as me.

Petey,

I was in Corolla last year for the 4th of July. Spent an entire week with my wife, my brother, and my brother's girlfriend. The Outer Banks is a great place to vacation. Wanted to kick my brother for not telling me about being able to drive a 4x4 on the beach. I took my Taurus down there and left my F-350 here. What a waste that was.

Anyway, I hope you have a great time. There are tons of fishing charters that you can take, and if you had given me a month or two heads up I would have tried to work something out. Let me know how the vacation turns out.

Oh yeah, it is only a little over 4 hours from my place. LOL

I was in Nags Head the 14th-21st, had a blast, fishing, relaxing, drank alot of beer (brew-thru, the greatest invention since the wheel) made a gulf stream trip out of oregon inlet, man what a blast!
