Talking closet impsons confession

I am a 43 year old Simpsons fan and addicted. Who here is like me, and have you seen the movie yet?

But I think my avatar may have been a clue......."D'oh!"

Have never seen a single minute of the show.Don't have any burning desire to. Hell, don't even have a barely smoldering desire to.

Uhhh!!

What is the simpsons?? Whatever it is...I'm with Rocky....and that remake of that movie with the fat girl in it?? Who cares. BTW watched the original being filmed. El Stupido! John Waters was crazy. So much junk being filmed! TV is one giant long commercial.

I do enjoy watching the show from time to time, and I've seen quite a few episodes. I think that it peaked around some of the middle seasons, but it's amazing how long it's lasted.

I guess it starts in my area today/tonight. I'm a devoted Simpsons Fan however after about season 7 or 8 I think the writers started to lose it.

Don't know if I'll see the movie or not. I haven't been to a movie in years. I refuse to give that part of our society the handout.

I have to agree TreeDoc. I like the Simpsons, but they lost it a little bit after Season 8 or 9. There are still funny moments, but it's not quite the same.
