Yes I cast bullets for the 7.62x54R and my .303s. I like the Lyman #311467 173 grain gas check bullet sized .311 for both calibers. This bullet is a multi-groove semi-spitzer projectile.

I have tried a 180 grain spitzer cast bullet which was not as accurate for me and a 180 grain flatnose bullet, that does not feed reliably in some rifles.

My favorite powders are 2400, Unique, and IMR4198.
