I sure do Lil'Red. My grandpa gave me one before I was born (he wanted to get me started huntin' early I reckon!)

I'll try and answer your question if I can.

Lilred,

That seems like a pretty easy question to answer. You gotta be a little tougher on these guys.

Well thank you Lilred, I would really like to have the manual! I sure appreciate your generosity. This shotgun means a lot to me, and the manual would ge a great asset. I just sent you a PM.

Thanks again!
Mike

Remington 58

The ol 58 was a nice pointing gun. Was the 3rd gas operated semi auto if I remember right. The 878 and the High Standard being first and 2nd. There was an awful lot of skeet championships won with the 58. The only real problem it had was the receivers cracked...badly. When the 1100 was designed they solved the problem though. Heavy loads and or a lot of shooting was the culprit. The 1100 had a relief cut in the bolt handle slot to cure the problem! BTW most dont realize it...but the 870 878 58 11-48 1100 and 11-87 all used the same basic receiver 740 742 and 760 based guns also
