Nice looking dog. The Springer we had when I was a kid was a complete disaster in the looks category, but he had one heck of a nose.

You need to use quotes around reality in that sentence. "Reality" shows are nothing about reality. They are completely staged and set up for conflict. Real life "reality" would be too boring for TV.
