Bought one new in 2000 and it's the most boring vehicle Iv'e ever owned. Nothing ever goes wrong with it.

I have the 4.7 liter V8. The only negative, the gas mileage sucks, literaly and figuratively. But I have to admit I have a camper on it.

Mecahicaly it is a sound machine. No rattles and no rust. Would I buy another? You bet. And i used to be a Ford guy.

squirrelman, I traded a 2000 ram 1500 on an 04 ram. Not that I needed to just for once because I wanted to. I think you will like the Dodge line. I also had been Ford all my life and believe it or not and this story don't have to start with 'once upon a time' but my tools in my box had to be removed and cleaned because of lack of use.....yes....lack of use....I should of went Dodge years ago....enjoy. and ....knock on wood.
