Thumbs up 375 & 416 Rigby

A friend invited me down to his range over the weekend and I had the opportunity to fire his .375 H&H and his Dad's .416 Rigby. Both were customized CZ's. Both rifles were very accurate with their own reloads and recoil wasn't that bad. The CZ's sported walnut stocks and weighed between 9 & 10 lbs. Both were mounted with Leupold 1.5x5 scopes. One thing I really liked about the CZ's: the mounting system on the Bruno mauser action allows for quick detachable mounts. Each had Warne rings and you can detach them in about 10 seconds. The dovetail allows you to reattach the scope without worry of losing your point of impact. This would be perfect for the hunter that takes more than one scope but just one rifle. Now I want a CZ. Good hunting, grayghost

CZ's

I, too, have both of those rifles in those calibers. Accurate, enough weight to help on recoil, and super accurate. One over looked benefit is the magazine capacity. My PH in RSA was impressed my .375 held 6 rounds in the magazine. I have a 7X57 CZ and again super accurate. The next one I get will be a 9.3X62 if I can find one with a LUX stock.

My friends just returned from Tanzania and took their Buffalo and a few other PG. One shot on each Buff. They reload Woodleigh's. grayghost
