Military surplus gun shops

Today it is raining and a splendid time to visit surplus gun shops. The one in the next village closed when the old building that housed it started to fall down. There is another great shop a few miles away and that is where I am going today. I have no idea what is available, but enjoy scanning the racks and handling the various old guns. The shop owner is a competitive shooter, a gun collector and runs a nice shop. More later. All the best...

Gil,

Good luck shopping. It seems there are fewer and fewer military gun shops these days. I always look at the bargain table in our local shop for slings, gun parts, stocks and whatever.

Good hunting Gil

Who said all our hunting had to be in the field

I try to keep an eye out for new places, and since I drive alot over a rather large area. If i happen to come across a new stroe/shop, I can usualyl spare at least a couple of min to upll over and give it a good look as long as I can find a place to park the beast.

Yes, you are right, there are fewer of them, and thats a sad thing
