I have one mini mag as well, but my brother-in-law works for Rayovac, so I get all kinds of flashlights and batteries all the time, not of the same durability as Mags, but I don't find myself wanting.

I have a 2D and a 4D around the house. I’m sorry but I can’t remember when I got then. I know it was sometime before I moved in1984????? MagLites are #1 of the conventional flashlight world. (Why would anyone buy a 3 cell? Batteries come in 2,4, ,,, even numbers? LOL). I put the LED insert into my 2xAA MiniMag and it will run forever. I carry the MiniMag and a SureFire on the ATV to save space.
