I've never owned anything other than Burris scopes. I have 3 of the Burris Fullfield II scopes. One on my slug gun, one on my muzzleloader, and one on my Ruger 10/22. The first one I ever bought was a Signature series 4-12x and it is close to 15 years old now. Burris has a lifetime warranty on their scopes and some of the rubber seals were starting to come loose on that Signature series scope. I sent it and another scope to Burris, they fixed both of them free of charge and sent them right back. The turn around was pretty quick too. I have 3 Signature series scopes, one of the first Fullfields on my BPS slug gun, and the 3 Fullfield II's mentioned above.

Clarity seems to be pretty good out of all their scopes. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Fullfield II if I needed something in that range. However, I think my next 2 scope purchases will be Signature series level for a couple AR's.

Just some more info. Burris is made in the US, but it is now owned by the Beretta group. I also like Beretta guns and their customer service is pretty darn good (i.e., took 3 guns to them for cosmetic defects and they took care of me).
