If I shoot once, I want to have a back up round for follow up shots. But if I need 3 shots- I shouldn't have taken the first one to begin with........

I haveta add,if you need "new"ammo to get some reach outta your lever gun,then you have the wrong lever gun.
Savage has been makin the right one for years...just doesn't look cool enough for western movies...
