IF YER PLANNING A HUNT IN WYOMING THIS COMING YEAR, IT"S TIME TA GET YER DUCKS IN A ROW!
Apps for elk need to be in by Jan 31
Deer and antelope a bit later

Figure where ya want to hunt BEFORE you apply!!!!!!!!!
Get yer hunt area access set.
Do this NOW instead of opening day!!!

Call the G&F for help!
You can apply online in 2008

Don't bite off more than ya can chew! He11, last year a guy stopped by and asked where he could hunt elk, deer and antelope at the same time as he only had 3 days ta hunt!!
I looked at his tags and saw he had 3 different geographic hunt areas which would require about a 1000 mi of driving just ta get to!
Yessir, betcha he had a great time.

Thanks for the head up hntr. I got my regulation book in the mail last week.

I've got two preference points for antelope so I'm hoping the cheap license application will get our group drawn. We're going to hunt public land somewhere down around Kemmerer, I've never been there but my buddy has.

I'd like to line up another elk hunt in a couple years, I might put in for a preference point. I'll go the guided route since I don't have horses and my favorite areas are wilderness areas and I'm a non-resident.
