I'm still lookin!

Yep I'm still Lookin!

Other deal fell through.

I'm still lookin for a P-14 Eddystone style action or complete rifle. Bbl and stock need not be good. Action must be in NRA VG to Excellent condition for its age of 80-90 + years. I intend to make a Rimmed CF bigbore project gun outta it.

If you can not find a P-14, you might think about the Siamese Mauser. They are 98 Mausers built by Arisaka. I have two that I built in 45-70 and both run to the bottom of 458 Win performance. The Simease will do the 450 and 500 Alaskan also, without a problem.

Yeh, I'm more than a bit familiar with the Siamese mauser, they .... are ...... UGULY!!!!! Very strong but .... very .... UUUUGULY!!!!!

I'd not do that to myself. Life is too short ta own an ugly gun, an ugly horse or live with an ugly w****n.

I like your "Life is too short" motto. I heard the other day that the difference between a "Dog" and a "Fox" is about a 6-pack. So, I suspect all is relative, I dunno....
