NWTF banquet figures

Just curious,
I was at our local NWTF banquet last night and it seemed as if the auction items weren't bringing as much as in past years. I'm not sure the attendance was as good either although that was hard to tell. Is it the economy or is it just our depressed starving jobless area.(just kidding)
Is it a trend in other areas our what??

Personally I think it is a sign of the times. People really DO have less disposable income. Mainly their own fault(for using all that credit) but it is still true. I am on somewhat of a fixed income but I find myself trying to travel less and not buy some of what I consider unnecessay items. That does NOT, however, include guns or shooting items! Heck the only thng I owe for is a tractor...and only because it was a 0 Percent interest financing thing. It is a pain to pay the payment every month though(just remembering to pay is what is the pain part)! Think things will continue to get worse for a while. Then the Democraps will come to power and tax us even more to get the country out of trouble. Then the repubs will get the power and do something else to hurt the people who pay the taxes ..again! Vicious circle eh wot??

We have our banquet this weekend and looks like the numbers are close to last years. I am on the committee again this year and will let ya know how the auction goes. Suppose I will go home with another Redlyn print lol

We had a very good turn-out and things went pretty high this year. Some of the Chapters was down from last year but ours was about the same.
