One could only hope that one could be held accountable. John McCain, however, doesn't have the stomach to even criticize Baroke Us Obama about his role in the meltdown... so if you're holding your breath... please have a rebreather...

I don't know what direct role Bambam had on the meltdown, but it seems that there should be some way to strip Barney Frank of his seat in congress or at least his chair on the committee that stymied attempts to bring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac under control. Clinton knows Barney is dirty and so do most of the people in the US. His "gay" partner was one of the head guys in those operations and helped break the outfit with their lending practices. The executive level employees of Fannie and Freddie were giving each other great bonuses (half million and up) and those employees donated hugh sums of money to Barney (and to Bambam). Since the money was given to their campaign funds, they are legally not complicite in the fraud that was rampant in those organizations.
Acutally, this whole business really pi---- me off and the the democrats pretend it is the republicans that are dishonest.

It's only the Republicans that eat their own. In the Democratic Party, Felons get elected Mayor, Felons get chairmanships... rat out their own....

that'll happen when hell freezes over, so expect more on the global warming front.

I will have an opportunity to talk with Sen. Enzi on Tuesday evening and intend to hand him a talking point memo on getting Barney Frank out of his committee chair and hopefully out of congress. The man is totally crooked and should be removed. I believe the term is malfeasance. He and Christopher Dodd are highly responsible for this whole financial meltdown. I don't think it (the financial mess) will hit me directly at all, but the point is these guys are crooks or incompetent. They both have received money as a result of being in positions of watch-doggin the operations of lending instituitions and have badly screwed up.
I am not going to get easily cured of being pis--- off about these WashingtonDC denizens and am going to make it a point of trying to bring scrutiny on their a---s.

Hi Larry... It a good time for Americans to start thinking about Term Limits for these guys too....

Good luck with your meeting.. I'm absolutely on your team... and what about California wanting a bailout, and now Michigan or Minnoesota or somebody... not sure, but this idiotic bailout should lead the way to get rid of everyone in congress and start over.
