Lightweight guns

A friend here has one of the lightweight 44 Specials that Smith made(makes??) He isn't one of those afraid of recoiul but he gave it to me to trake to a gun show and sell. I shot it a few times and the recoil with the same loads is worse than my Charter Arms Target Bulldog. And it ain't no kitty cat. It is also a bigger gun and weighs less. Also he didn't clean it up as well as it coulda been. Discolors a bit..or so I thought. BUT so does Stainless
