Joe is correct. It's the polygonal rifling that causes problems. Aftermarket barrels with regular rifling AND fully supported chambers are best if you want to shoot either cast bullets or 40 S&W reloads from a Glock.

I shoot Berry's plated bullets in a Gen III Glock 22 & an H&K usp 40c with factory barrels. My loads are modest & I clean after low round count shooting.
My Gen III Glock to my eye seems to have as much chamber support as the H&K. I have read that is the case with the newer Glocks. Anyway it works for me. |
