Yea I like that one too...ya know Florida is as much of a border state as anywhere else..
Its not just me but you can smell it in the air here...people are mad and their fuses are gone. You put the fear of the economy and people's future's and the tolerance level has literally disappeared...Everyday we read where some such latin group has manipulated or stolen millions of dollars, the hit and runs are thru the roof, crimes are more heinous and more brutal everyday..it truly is a culture war here..I got 6 Mexicans who moved into a 2/1 down the street and caught them on a security camera looking over my fence, they hang out of an open front door and leer at every woman who comes out of their homes, so you do the right thing, and make noise and 3 weeks later they are still there.. I have to be especially careful due to my "little incident" but I doubt I can be still too much longer.

I'm run a small business in Minnesota and am pressured to become bi-lingual. I tell them I already am, English and broken Norwegian.
Val, you'd be welcome here. Next time a business refuses to speak English pay them in Pesos.

I have a local Micky D that is close to the house and rather convenient. The manager is Hispanic, all the employees are Hispanic ans if a non-Hispanic comes in, rudeness pervails including "No Habla." when you order from some of the people they have working there.
I've written Micky D headquarters several times with complaints about the rudeness of the staff and that seems to have stopped but when I went the last time, I got a kid who could not even speak a word of English. I hollered for the manager to complain and he asked me to leave. Guess he didn't want my money and Micky D HQ got another super nastygram. Too many complaints and they'll lose their franchise.Paul B. |
