Ridge Runner, I respectfully continue to disagree with the proposal of a highly polished chamber. I will enter a new thread in the "Gunsmithing" category asking about whether to polish or not on chambers. I was taught "not" by several experienced gunbuilders and see the same advice in highly regarded rebarreling books. I know brass being pushed back into ejector holes in the bolt face or into the ejector slot of a bolt is a definite sign things are going south. Why increase bolt thrust when that is what causes those signs?
