from what i've read in "alerts" from NRA-ILA and CCKBA the bill is going to the assembly floor this next week.
one of the most alarming parts of this piece of legislation it prohibits purchasing ammo via mail, too... i wrote nearly every member of the 'committee' and at least three of my emails were returned to me as "deleted without being opened". we MUST keep a close eye on legislators...they will totally shut down ALL firearms activities if WE allow them to.
