Proud daddy!!

Went out for some gopher shooting today and my daughter finally got her first ever gopher! A very well placed 30 yard neck shot! I couldnt be happier, and she cant wait to go shoot more!!

Rifle used is her Henry Mini-Bolt .22

Her mommy had to work, so she missed all the fun, but quoted to me "Its like missing her first steps"

Im not sure who was more proud of her...me or her! That grin took a long time to get off her face!! And she cant wait to go out again and shoot more!

Congratulations to the young lady! That's a great rifle to start her on too, to learn gun safety fundamentals.

Captain...That's great that your daughter enjoys the shooting sports. We need more girls like her to take it up.

I can't wait until my 4.5-year-old daughter is old enough to start shooting. The other day, I bought her a toy gun at the new Cabelas store in Scarborough Maine. Hopefully, that that will start her off on the right track.

Good for her!
Good for her proud dad too.
Seldom do I open a picture in a forum that made me smile as big a smile as that one did.
Thanks for sharing.
