I've tried them, and I think they work just fine.

I've heard nothing but bad about them; however, I have no first hand knowledge.
If you are interested in trying them give the manufacturer a call and ask for a sample. They may send you one to try.

I could see about taking a couple pics of mine, but in the meantime, I assume Deerman is talking about these, QuickFletch, link to them at Cabela's here: http://www.cabelas.com/spod-1/0057078.shtml These are the ones I have.

Basically, you remove old damaged vanes from an arrow with a knife, wipe the arrow with alcohol, acetone, or some other clear solvent, slip the QuickFletch over the arrow, and dip the vane end of the arrow in boiling water for a few seconds. The sleeve will shrink tightly and seal over the arrow, and voila, new vanes for your archery enjoyment, without buying fletching jigs or aother equipment.

I am more of a gun guy than an archery guy, and those who shoot/hunt with bows more than I do may have different opinions. But in my experience, this is a good product. They are durable, easy to apply, and shoot very well. Worth a try.

I've used a ton of different fletchings and even tried the FOBs (pretty cool and a lot easier to install, BTW). Never tried these though... A close friend has used them before, and really had nothing but good things to say. I may have to try these out one of these days. I've spoken with a few others who used them, and never heard a bad report. Sounds like they'd be worth using, just for simplicity of use.

I like having the arrow "crested". I've always wanted to do this. It seems you can see the arrow in flight much better
